James is a 39 year old janitor at Oakland Mall in Detroit, MI who was working today to make money for his daughter, Justice’s 7th birthday, to buy her a gift. James didn’t even have a $1 to buy the mystery gift, as he told me he would only have cash after working his shift today, so instead, he traded his hat on his head for the mystery gift.
When rewarded the birthday gift for Justice and $1000, James immediately wanted to pay it forward. James paid $300 of it forward to another Oakland Mall employee at Cinnabon, who is a mother of 4 because he wanted to, “spread the love to others”.
