Internet meet Mario.

Mario is a 60 year old Mexican immigrant living in the LA area struggling to make ends meet for him and his daughter who’s been in a vegetative state these past 10 years after getting jumped by girls in high school. Mario’s wife also passed from cancer, leaving him as the sole provider for his daughter — that is how I found Mario, outside a local mall willing to do any physical labour/handy work to provide for his ‘princess’.

Although the stress and uncertainty in his own life, Mario still found it in his heart to help me, a stranger, when I told him that I had lost my job as he told me, “My life is hard so I know what it feels like.”
