Internet meet Ronke.

Ronke is a 24 year old international student and mother from Nigeria, moving to Canada a year ago. Since moving to Canada to pursue her dreams of higher education, she found out she was pregnant with twins, her husband’s visa to Canada had been denied, her pregnancy had complications in which she nearly died and in the hospital for over a month — that same time, her mom had passed away overseas.

Ronke and her two 7 month old babies are currently squatting at a small home with members of her local church. Ronke has no where to go, and is still in school.

Although she was going through all of this, Ronke gave me her last few dollars, helping a complete stranger.
